ARMANDO GONZALEZ,
MD
Internal Medicine

As a young man of 13 years of age, coming from Mexico to America was a family dream come true for Dr. Armando Gonzalez. His family settled in San Fernando Valley, CA. He attended Cal State Northridge where he received his BS degree. He returned to Mexico to attend medical school at the University of Guadalajara. During his medical training, he spent a year in Chicago at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, IL. Eventually he transferred to New York to spend a year at New Rochelle Medical Center. At New Rochelle, he finished his fifth pathway training and did a transitional year; as he was considering doing a surgical residency. But after three years of cold weather, Dr. Gonzalez decided to return to the West. He then transferred to Tucson Medical Center where he completed his specialty in Internal Medicine. After graduation he decided to stay and practice in Tucson, joining the Carondelet Medical Group (CMG) working in out patient care as well as the hospital. While at CMG he was a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee. After spending five years with CMG he opened his own private practice, Mesa Verde Medical Group, on September 1, 2001. It has always been his dream to open a Med Spa. With the opening of Resolutions Medical Spa his dream has become a reality. Dr. Gonzalez has truly lived the American dream.
